The Trail Hydra 285 sits right in the middle of Industry Nine’s mountain wheelset application table; the TR285 might be the “one” if you’re looking to make your mid-travel trail bike your main ride, or if your mid-travel trail bike is your only bike. The TR285 features a 28.5mm inner width rim with a hollow bead wall for increased pinch flat protection and better impact resistance than the previous Trail rims. This means you can ride harder without worrying about damaging your tire or rim, and you can take bigger, steeper lines on burlier terrain.
