Available in a variety of colors.These EC headsets are for frameswith external bearing cups, which places the bearingoutside of the frame with these headsets.

Compatibility

• Stack height designation for EC headsets includes 10mm cup (see tech specs).
• Any frame that uses an external cup headset with a 34mm upper head tubeinner diameter and 34mm, 44mm, or 49mmlower head tube inner diameter.
• Uppers and lowers sold separately.
• Enduro black oxidesealed bearings included on both theupper and lower.
• Upper headsets ship with a star nut which can only be used on forks with steel or aluminum steerer tubes. For forks with carbon steerer tubes you will need a compression plug(sold separately). (Never use a star nut on a carbon steerer tube).
• Acrown race adapter(sold separately) will allow you to use forks with smaller1-1/8″ or 1-1/4″ steerer tubeswith a larger 1-1/2″ bottom headset cup
• EC34 Lowers are not compatible with Surly 1-1/8″ straight steererforks

Upper assembly features:

• Ultralight Stem Cap With Integrated Spacer plus an aluminum bolt and a star nut.
• 5mm top cover = 16mm total stack
• O-ring seal prevents water intrusion around the steerer tube.
• Custom-molded upper lip seal provides additional protection for upper bearing.

Lower assembly features:

• Custom molded dual-lip seal on the crown race to protect lower bearing in the toughest conditions.
• 12.25mm stack.
• Service and additional parts available.
